Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal resin, polyoxymethylene, polyacetal, is a thermoplastic crystalline polymer, known as "super steel".
Chemical formula: (CH2O)n, fiber with a strength of 6-10g/d. Excellent wear resistance, good dimensional stability, good alkali resistance, poor acid resistance. It is prepared by melting and spinning after catalytic polymerization of high-purity formaldehyde or trioxane.
Polyoxymethylene (POM) fiber has high strength, high modulus and especially dimensional stability, thermal stability and corrosion resistance, light resistance, wear resistance and other properties. Its molecular structure contains a large number of ether bonds and has good compatibility with inorganic materials, which can enhance the toughness of concrete and prevent concrete from cracking.
Compared with other concrete reinforcing fibers, POM fiber also has better dispersion type, higher cost performance, and better tensile strength and elastic modulus.
