Paraffin, colorless to white translucent block, pure paraffin is white, paraffin containing impurities is yellow, tasteless and odorless, with a greasy feeling. The chemical properties are stable, and the color will turn yellow under ultraviolet radiation. It can be burned and decomposed, and it is stable at room temperature.
